New Anti-Graffiti Coating Protects Against Vandals

Finally, you can enjoy peace of mind when painting your home’s facade a bright and wonderful shade of white.

Gone are the days of waking up to find that a local hoon had performed some unwelcome ‘artwork’ on your pristine fence while you were sleeping.

Not only is home graffiti frustrating to find, but it’s incredibly time consuming and expensive to remove.

On a mission to prevent the annual estimated cost (AU$2.7 billion) of removing graffiti, Dulux has released a revolutionary new product enabling home owners to easily remove vandalism time and time again, without the need to call in the big guns.

“We know graffiti causes a great deal of distress,” said Briana Keenahan, Dulux senior brand manager, in press release materials. “With the launch of Dulux Precision Anti Graffiti Coating we’re empowering home owners because they can now do something about it themselves.

“Dulux has developed Precision Anti Graffiti Coating to resist all graffiti paint systems – spray paints and markers – and it only needs to be applied once to provide ongoing protection.”

One application of the product means residents need only wash away unwanted tagging with a high-pressure hose should their home be attacked by vandals.

The product is suitable for both painted and unpainted timber, concrete, brick and rendered surfaces, and can be applied with a brush, roller or spray gun.

And aside from its graffiti-repelling properties, the coating also promises to protect your home from dirt, pollution, rust and stains.

Dulux Precision Anti Graffiti Coating is now available at Bunnings and Mitre 10. A 2L tin will set you back $190 and should adequately cover the average fence, while a 4L tin comes in at $290.
